"Action is movement with intelligence. The world is filled with movement. What the world needs is more conscious movement, more action."

redefining womanhood
what does it mean to be a woman?
In this workshop we encourage self-identified women to think critically about shared, internalized beliefs regarding womanhood. Our lives are often shaped by ideas that tell us how we should act and who we should be meanwhile, we seldom look to the source and question if these beliefs even align with our personal truth.
Through movement, brief journaling and dialogue, we collectively unpack social roles that traditionally prescribe appropriate behavior and challenge these outdated ways of thinking by changing the narrative.
mindfulness in motion
raising awareness: mind, body + soul
Our intention for these sessions is to create safe space where students can center themselves while simultaneously deepening mind-body awareness. We encourage them to observe the state of their mind and educate on the direct impact it has on the quality of their lives.
Breathing exercises and intentional movement support students in expanding beyond limiting conditions.
